Terry Hayes - Guitar/Vocals
Liz Hayes - Vocals
Terry has shared the stage and/or performed with artists such as Jon McLaughlin, Poco, and Sandi Patty. In addition to live appearances in many countries and throughout the US, he has done session work in studios in Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Nashville, Chicago, and South America. His studio experience also includes arranging and composing commercial music. Terry is active in church music and has served throughout the Indianapolis area in many different capacities. He currently works in the audio industry and has worked as a recording and live sound engineer. Terry also performs as a solo guitarist and with various groups around Indianapolis.
Growing up in a musical home and singing in church since a very early age have clearly shaped both Liz' voice and her musical tastes. No matter the style, Liz has the unique ability to make a song her own and, most importantly, to connect with an audience. Liz has performed in clubs, galleries, as a featured soloist in church productions, and for private & corporate events throughout the US.
Tom Janke - Bass
Paul Surowiak - Drums
Tom started playing bass in Junior High. He fell in love with jazz while he was studying Business and Music at Texas Tech University where he played in the top jazz ensemble and in a quartet with acclaimed pianist, Arlington Jones. A graduate from IUPUI’s Music Technology Master of Science program, Tom currently serves as Assistant Director for IUPUI’s Center for Teaching and Learning. In addition to his duties at the Center for Teaching and Learning, he teaches several music business courses through the IUPUI department of Music and Arts Technology. He performs regularly with a several rock, pop and jazz groups around the Indianapolis area.
Paul Surowiak received his B. M. in Percussion Performance from Indiana University, where he studied with Gerald Carlyss, Principle Timpanist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and William Roberts, Principal Percussionist of the Denver Symphony. Upon graduating, Paul studied with Kenny Aronoff and Steve Davis. While at I. U., he performed with Dominic Spera’s Jazz Ensemble, The Philharmonic Orchestra, The Wind Ensemble, and The New Music Ensemble. Paul has also performed with various local and regional artists including Tad Robinson, Marcos Cavalcante, The Chosen Few, The Guy Lombardo Orchestra with Al Pierson, Rusty Bladen, and Terry Hayes, and has been involved with the music program at Mount Pleasant Christian Church since 2008.
